local coordinate position
Hi All, I have a plan or map with a site using arbitrary corordinates and I need to locate the position of these co ords on the ground. I load the DWG file into the data recorder, calibarte a point being the know co ord of a corner, then load CAD of the DWG to stake out positions around the site. I only get massive calibartion diferences while trying to use local coordinate option in the software.
Please help!!

If you have points from an arbitrary survey and obtain abnormal differences after site calibration, check the entered data to ensure they match the map data.
