We appreciate your interest and the trust you place in SurPad. However, we must clarify that SurPad is not available for iOS, and there are currently no plans to rewrite the entire program for another platform. The developers are focused on enhancing and expanding SurPad exclusively for the Android platform.

In the specific market of geodetic surveys, the use of iOS devices (iPhone or iPad) for field measurements is relatively uncommon. iOS devices are premium products, and their costs remain significantly higher compared to the more accessible Android devices. The potential market for iOS users is too small, and the development costs are prohibitively high.

Additionally, there are several technical limitations that prevent developers from porting many of the key functionalities from Android to iOS.

At present, the most viable and attractive option remains the use of SurPad 4.2 on Android devices. Many iOS users actually purchase Android devices specifically for fieldwork to leverage SurPad’s powerful features.
